UIQ Developer Conference - Boston
BackUIQ Technologies had a developer conference in Boston May 10&11, 2007 where developers met with UIQ executives and representatives of several phone companies. The UIQ development platform, an attractive variety of UIQ phones, industry-standard development tools and active developer and partner communities make working with UIQ a rewarding experience for developers and content creators targeting the mobile phone market. The UIQ platform with its rich API set and strong developer community facilitates the creation of compelling applications, content and services. The platform is engineered so that the same code can run on multiple phone configurations (with or without flip, landscape or portrait, touchscreen or not, etc.) with minimal or no changes, thus increasing the lifecycle of applications and content. More applications for the UIQ platform have been sold, per phone on the market, at premium prices, than applications for any other smartphone platform.
